Here Two Phase of Examination is carried out.
Phase-I Online Examination

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Candidates must have 21 years of age and maximum of 30 Years age. 3 Years age will be Relaxed for OBC Candidates, 5 years will be relaxed for SC/ST Candidates and for PWD Candidates 10 Years age is relaxed.
Educational Qualifications: For General/OBC Candidates must Secure 60% marks or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th standard examinations. The minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor’s Degree will be in aggregate for all semesters / years. 50% Marks must be secured by SC/ST/PWD.

Number of attempts: All General Candidates who are applying for RBI Grade B Officer Exam could apply for maximum of 6 times in the sense of giving Phase – I Exam. No such restriction applies to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD
SCHEME OF SELECTION: Selection will be through ON-LINE Examinations and interview.
(I) Phase-I online Examination (Objective Type): This Paper consistes of 200 marks. The Paper consists tests of (i) General Awareness (ii) English Language (iii) Quantitative Aptitude and (iv) Reasoning, with composite time of 120 minutes.

The questions on this section will be basic in nature.
Pay Scale of RBI Grade B Officer: Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 35,150/- p.m. in the scale of Rs. 35150-1750(9)-50900-EB-1750(2)-54400-2000(4)-62400 applicable to Officers in Grade B and they will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family allowance, and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 65,789/-.
Perquisites: Bank’s accommodation subject to availability, reimbursement of expenses for maintenance of vehicle for official purpose, newspaper, telephone charges, book grant, allowance for furnishing of residence, etc. as per eligibility. Free dispensary facility besides reimbursement of medical expenses for OPD treatment/hospitalization as per eligibility. Interest free festival advance, Leave Fare Concession (once in two years for self, spouse and eligible dependents). Loans and Advances at concessional rates of interest for Housing, Car, Education, Consumer Articles, Personal Computer, etc. Selected candidates will be governed by ‘the defined contribution New Pension Scheme (NPS)’, in addition to the benefit of Gratuity.
Probation Phase: Initial appointment will be on probation for a period of two years. At Bank’s discretion, the probationary period may be extended upto a maximum period of four years.
